So what is there to do in Punta Gorda?

For four years, Money magazine recognized Punta Gorda USA as one of the top five places to live in the country.

Punta Gorda is a mix of sub tropical natural surroundings and fun of a quaint village. All within 15 minutes from the house you can go to dining, entertainment, art galleries, golf, beach, spas, shopping, boating, parks, tennis/health club, basketball courts, small airport, groceries, and highway. Don't miss going for a boat ride to the beautiful deserted beaches in Charlotte Harbor that are accessible by boat only. The Babcock Wilderness Ranch will allow you to see the full beauty of South West Florida. There are fishing trips, boat rentals, and luxury charters.

There are new activities and business coming to this town every day!

'Boomtowns 2007' from Inc.com, Punta Gorda ranked # 27th for small towns in growth!

Tennis, Basketball, jogging/walking, playground

The waterfront park has activities for the whole family. Tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, and free outdoor music/events are going on at the Gilchrist Park. Very nice sidewalks are abundant in Punta Gorda for riding bikes, jogging, and walking. You will see alot of people walking over the bridge to catch a great breeze and watch the boats go by on Peace River.
